She’s done it again

Now with her first official music video under her belt, Slayyyter has further established her skyrocketing status. Her popularity has grown in a snowball effect with the help of her devoted stans and irresistible sound.

“Daddy AF” has a seductive Slayyyter being chased by paparazzi in homage to early 2000s tabloid craze, and then rocking a Mia-Wallace-meets-Risky-Business-meets-Playboy-Bunny outfit on a Cadillac, rapping about feeling “Daddy as fuck,” all while smoking a cigarette. The video is raunchy and glamorous, trashy and classy, representing the duality of the pop star to-be.

Slayyyter totes high production pop song like a fully loaded gun, and none of her singles have yet to miss the target. Despite receiving the elusive twitter verified checkmark within the week, Slayyyter has grown since the end of 2018 to establish her presence as the future of pop music. Her songs carry a PC Music aura to them while combining Charli XCX’s sexbot vibes with Tommy Genesis’ pseudo rap-horniness. Rolling Stone claimed she was “winning the internet pop game” months ago, and she’s upheld her status as the reigning queen of post-modern pop star princess Twitter. Without alienating herself, Slayyyter has managed to forge a path diverting from pop normality in favor of a hyper sexual, hyper technical sound. She realigns in the vein of familiarity with her bleached blonde hair, pink everything, and aura that speaks both equal parts Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. She’s a raunchy Barbie with a Twitter account, a product of a plastic pop star factory but with a personality .

With “Daddy AF” Slayyyter brings another bop to the table in the same breath as her first official music video. The high quality visual backs an equally high quality sound. With this milestone release, Slayyyter has every right to keep “poppin bottles all night” — as long as she releases more music after.
